DeleteI read this in the beginning of 2012, and loved it. It rocked. Now the sequel is sitting unread on my shelf, growling at me to come get it. *sigh* Thanks for stepping by and sharing!

Oh, yes I read the second one! It was so great, and let me tell you, you have got to read it! like today! and while you are at it you should read the novella Destroy Me. All so deliciously good.
DeleteGlad you enjoyed this one. I'm not sure what to make of it. Your teaser is intriguing, but it seems to have received a lot of mixed reviews at Goodreads.
ReplyDeleteI would definitely agree that there are a lot of mixed reviews out there. I believe it to be because of the overplay of love in this story. Kira and Adam have an inst-love feel to them but not completely so. I personally really enjoyed the setting of the story and the basis behind it. I wouldn't call it the greatest book in the world but I definitely believe it to be worth reading! I hope that helped with your dilemma. If not, thank you for stopping by!

DeleteI like that teaser. I've heard a lot of good things about that book but have yet to start it. My uncle is constantly calling people a little shit and he has a really strong Spanish accent so its hilarious.

Ha, yeah the character hasn't talked to anyone in a long time and she is obsession with counting so it turns into kind of a poetic counting rhythm when she thinks in her head.
